The Inauguration of the Journal of Eastern Health Care: a Regional Forum to Share Public Health Science

Abstract

We are delighted to launch the inaugural issue of our new online publication, Eastern Journal of Healthcare (EJHC). EJHC aims to empower local researchers from developing and emerging countries in Middle, Eastern, Southern and Southeast Asia and offer an avenue for publication of studies that both matter to their local contexts and inform international readers. EJHC will enable researchers from these countries to publish researches on priority topics for their home countries and healthcare systems, even though these researches may be perceived as of less interest or relevance to non-Eastern/developed countries.
